We live and breath books. Well, we don't actually inhale them, but the smell of books is seldom far away from our sensorium. We go to sleep at night and dream of stacks of books, carefully lined up, with helpful and smiling sales help waiting to help us with our labors. We wake up and can't wait to let others know that we are ready to sell.
We sell books on the arts, medicine, history, business, even comic books. We don't want to compare ourselves to the Library of Alexandria, but we would like to eventually be an outpost of civilization, a veritable bulwark of refinement in a world of uniform, homogenized and carefully considered planning. We are not very uniform, all our books are different, and while we don't have anything against homogenization, we prefer ours unhomogenized and definitely spontaneous. We don't plan our purchases, we sell odd items, out-of-print items and things we like for ourselves. Some of our books are one-of-a-kind. How about a tour guide to the Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza? No one else has it. How about a child's book of stories called "Pixie Tales" imported years ago from Great Britain? That would be hard to find also. We don't run these by focus groups and grind down our marketing into demographic groups. You found us because you saw something you wanted. So find the Page Down key on your keyboard and click down through the offerings. They are organized by rough Alphabetical order.

You might have come to this place through a cached memory link in a search engine, or a mysterious quote in some other website (we say mysterious because chunks of this blog are cut and pasted for reasons only known to those websites and their webmasters, we have no agreements as of yet with other folks who might have other agendas for our memorable phrases) and this list (that was here of books and other items and is now removed), is somewhat outdated anyway. I have moved the lengthy list of available books to the following website / web blog as of December 2009:
